“Once you see a child’s self-image begin to improve, you will see significant gains in achievement areas, but even more importantly, you will see a child who is beginning to enjoy life more.”

– Dr Wayne W. Dyer, American author

Drama Coaching

Have you ever watched someone perform to a crowd and not even break into a sweat? Well, I’ll let you in on a little secret – it’s a skill that can be learned!

I love coaching young actors and creative artists to develop their performance skills and increase their self-confidence.

If you’re looking for drama coaching for kids and young adults, my sessions:

  • use oral performance (oracy training) to build self-esteem and confidence
  • prioritise wellbeing by following a ‘whole child’ learning approach
  • focus on developing compassion, kindness, gratitude and grace in students
  • empower students to collaborate, innovate and think creatively
  • follow a holistic social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) approach
  • cover the spectrum of arts-based learning – from performance art to production-design thinking.

And, of course, it goes without saying that my drama coaching is fun as well as inspirational!

“Thank you, Matt, for your enthusiasm and sense of fun. My son has thoroughly enjoyed his drama sessions. You have really impacted his learning and made him realise how much he enjoys drama. He is so happy when he comes home each Tuesday!”
