BY ENROLLING YOUR CHILD WITH THE DRAMA GURU, YOU ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SIGNED ENROLMENT FORM OR ONLINE DIGITAL SIGNATURE AS A ROLLING AGREEMENT.
THE ROLLING AGREEMENT IS MADE BETWEEN THE PARENT/GUARDIAN OF EACH STUDENT AND THE DRAMA GURU AND IS VALID AT ALL TIMES WHILST THE STUDENT IS ENROLLED IN CLASSES AND UNTIL SUCH TIME AS WRITTEN NOTICE (PLEASE SEE SECTION 7) IS GIVEN.
The Drama Guru – Terms and Conditions
1. Fees and Securing a Place
Fees are payable in advance of each term. Your child’s place is only secured once payment has been received.
Fees are charged for the place in the class, not individual attendance.
2. Missed Sessions
No refunds or credits are given for missed sessions due to illness, holidays, or other commitments.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
3. Cancellation and Notice Period
We operate on a termly basis and require half a term’s written notice (5 weeks) to withdraw from classes.
If notice is not given, fees for that period will still be payable as your child’s place has been reserved.
In exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to review this at our discretion.
4. Non-Attendance
Non-attendance does not constitute notice of withdrawal and fees will still be due.
5. Late Payments
Late payments may incur a £25 charge to cover administrative costs.
Continued non-payment may result in your child’s place being suspended.
6. Outstanding Fees
We will always attempt to resolve any outstanding balances directly.
If necessary, debts may be passed to a third-party collection agency, and additional costs may be added.
7. Class Changes and Cancellations
We reserve the right to make changes to class times, venues, or teaching staff where necessary.
If a session cannot take place, we will aim to offer a replacement session or credit where possible.
8. Behaviour
We pride ourselves on creating a positive and supportive environment for all.
If behaviour consistently disrupts the class or impacts others, we reserve the right to withdraw a student’s place.
9. LAMDA and Exams
Where students are entered for exams, additional fees may apply.
Students will be expected to commit to learning material and completing any preparation required to give them the best chance of success.
10. Safeguarding
Safeguarding is central to everything we do. All relevant policies are available on request.
11. Photography and Video
Photographs or video footage will only be used for promotional purposes where explicit consent has been given.
Consent can be withdrawn at any time in writing.
12. Liability
All reasonable care is taken to ensure the safety of students.
Participation in classes is at your own risk.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Personal Belongings
Students are responsible for their own belongings. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage.
14. Cooling-Off Period (Online Bookings)
If you enrol online, you have a 14-day cooling-off period.
If classes begin within this time, you agree that the service has started and your right to cancel may be reduced.
15. Agreement
By enrolling in classes, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
